Have you used your state workforce agency to support your return to work?

Getting successfully employed is hard for anyone, and having a disability may present additional challenges. Every state has an agency that is supposed to help people with disabilities to become successfully employed, with successful employment being different for each person’s goals. Many people with disabilities are not informed that these agencies exist, much less utilize them for their success. They provide job placement and job coaching. They can facilitate education and training to do the job someone wants, and they can provide adaptive equipment that will allow someone to be successful on the job. Have you used your state workforce agency? What services did they provide for you? Were they able to support you in meeting your work goals?
