What Is or Was your biggest Fear in living with Paralysis? How did you overcome it?

What like to have an idea of what is or was your biggest fear in living with paralysis. Many of us may have or had similar fears as well.

    For my son it's being alone, he can no longer do for himself, can't even roll over, so being in a room alone is scary for him. I tied a bell hanging from a string on his bed, he can shake the string to ring the bell, and one on his desk, it has helped some but for the most part he still has an overwhelming fear of being left alone (even when he knows I am just in the kitchen, he will ring his bell just to summon me within his line of sight every few minutes lol ). It is my hope that as time goes on he will over come this fear.
