Going to the bar in a wheelchair
My brother is a 24-year-old guy who likes to go to the bar just like so many people in their 20s do. So often, though, he's sitting below the bar, reaching up to grab his drink and not sitting at the level of everyone else in the bar stools. Have you ever been to bar that was more accessible/accommodating than most? I know this might seem like a silly topic, but when bars are often a big part of being social, it can be pretty inconvenient and alienating when they're not accessible. I'm just curious to know if you have any tips or examples of places you've been to that were better about this!
