Reeve Connect will be shut down on October 31, 2021, while we reimagine and refresh our community forum. Thank you for making Reeve Connect a place where all people living with paralysis come to share their stories, tips, and engage in lively discussions. Stay connected with Reeve as we explore new community platforms and bring you an updated site that will be easier to navigate and accessible for all people living with paralysis. You can follow the Reeve Foundation on social media and sign up for our newsletter to receive the latest news on our initiatives and programs.
Dancing Dreams is a non-profit adaptive dance program for children with physical and medical challenges. Classes are taught by physical therapists, and each child is paired with a 1:1 Helper, a high school student volunteer so each dancer can dance within their own maximum ability.
Boys and girls ages 3-18 with physical and medical challenges are welcome to join our program. Classes are held weekly in our three locations in Bayside (Queens), Upper East Side (Manhattan), and Plainview (Long Island). The year ends with an Annual Performance, an onstage celebration of the achievements of our students.
