Bone Loss - Osteoporosis, Osteopenia Treatment

I am 3 years post injury and my rehab physician ordered a bone scan x-ray which said I had some osteoporosis and osteopenia. After a trip to an endocrinologist I was advised to get a twice a year injection of Prolea. I read up on the drug and of course did not like the side effects.

Has anyone taken Prolia or any other bone drugs? What are your experiences?
