Christmas is Always Very Hard for Me

Hey all,
Christmas is always a hard time of year for me. I have learned to deal with it as best as possible but it is still a struggle. The main reason is that I was always so very active during the Christmas season. From buying the tree, putting up the outside lights, decorating the tree, doing cooking and going shopping for the many people in my life who I love and cherish. I went out shopping at the mall and you can imagine what that was like. People not seeing me, cutting me off, walking into me, etc. I can't decorate the tree which was one of my very favorite things to do. I still do the cooking with the help of my daughter eand granddaughter. My sons are not into putting up the outside lights so I bought one of those things that projects decorations onto the house. It all comes down to feeling "less than" because of my disability. You would think that after 9 years, I would be over it but obviously I am not. Just wanted to put that out there...
