What are you looking forward to most now that COVID-19 restrictions are being lifted? Do you still have concerns about staying safe? Are the people in your life taking your concerns seriously?

    Travel!
although now restrictions are back in force for California.
I have people in my life at each end of the spectrum, I’m doing what I can to keep me and family safe. One nice thing has been family bonding time, lots of time.

Has your dad been more careful around you since your post in July?? That’s a tough situation to be in!

I’m sorry that you are in that scenario, does your dad wear a mask when doing your care? Do you take vitamin C or airborne, things that can boost your immune system?
Be as safe as you can but try hard not to be anxious that will where you down. Go outside and get extra sleep if possible, hang in there!

Back in February, I made an appointment with a new doctor, an endocrinologist. My appointment was for late June. Because of the restrictions, it became a Tele-med appointment. It was great! The doctor took a lot of time and listened to me regarding treating my osteoporosis. It was much easier to do an appointment this way rather than getting my wheelchair and me in the van, travel to the office, and then back. I never would have tried making an appointment in this way. It forced me to try the technology. I’m glad I did!
Have you tried telemedicine? Are you thinking about doing tele-med for your next appointment?

Yes, I also would not have scheduled appts that way, but since forced I’ve had good luck so far with the tele-med way as well. It’s been nice and way less time with getting ready, driving, parking etc...
