I’ve had several encounters with someone who thinks it’s amusing to make remarks that I find hurtful and insulting, such as inquiring if I've gone for my morning jog.

I’m wondering if you have had similar experiences, and if so, how did you respond? A further complication is that this person is a friend of a very dear friend.
